Stress Lessons: The Effects of Stress on the Body


In this day and age, stress is an issue for almost everyone. Whether it be about work, money, school, children, or a number of other issues, stress is always there knocking at our doors and trying to take over our lives. And if that is not enough, the actual stress itself can even stress us out even more. The problem with stress, other than the fact that it’s uncomfortable for everyone involved, is that it is very unhealthy for your body.  This is not old news.  Stress can affect your body by giving you headaches, stomach problems, and anxiety.  However, one of the major problems with stress is that is can affect your heart.  Living a stressful life and not letting the small things go can actually improve your chances of having a heart attack.  Whatever the situation, it's not worth your health.  Here are a few things that you can do to keep your stress a little more under control and manageable.
